Smartphones have been around us for about two decades and their usefulness does not seem to wane for even a fraction. In fact, its importance in the conduct of our daily lives is steadily increasing, edging out most obsolete devices in terms of usability. It has exceeded its purpose as a telephony device meant to help users perform basic telephony functions provided by various service providers, such as RingCentral phone service, to become a hub wherein consumers can use various functionalities that include non-communication tasks.
There are a lot of smartphones in existence nowadays made available to various types of businesses. Whether you own or manage a small to mid-sized enterprise or a sprawling corporation, there is a wide range of smartphones that you can choose from depending on the immediate needs of your business, your future plan for expansion, and the financial limitations of your company.
For businesses that look for high-end smartphones, and where the price of the handheld device is of no matter, there are a number of powerful devices from the giants of the tech comm industry such as Apple, Samsung Electronics, and HTC, among others. One of the most popular and sought after smartphone in the world is the iPhone, manufactured by the US-based company Apple.
The latest phone from Apple is the iPhone 5, which met critical and popular success especially in the US market. This smartphone is one of the most powerful, if also one of the most expensive, available in the market today, providing users with a range of features and functions that no other smartphone can match.
Apple is said to release its next flagship smartphone this year, which will more likely be an improvement on its predecessor than a revolutionary leap from its previous features. But regardless, it is expected that the iPhone 5S—or maybe an iPhone 6—will again capture the interest of most consumers who want quality handheld devices for personal and business use.
But what do we have to expect from the new iPhone installment? There are rumors finding their ways around the grapevine as to the new features that can be found in the iPhone 5. One of these features is 128GB internal memory that stretches the limit of onboard storage—previously at a maximum of 64GB—which will surely have Apple fans going gaga over this device. This is because its represents an opportunity to maximize the full potential of the iPhone in terms of storage space for music documents, photos, email, and videos, among others.
Aside from this, the iPhone 5S is expected to feature as faster processor, probably an A6X chip or an A7 processor, which will further boost the speed of the smartphone. In addition, there is talk that the iPhone 5S will likely sport a wireless charging system called the Near Field Magnetic Resonance or NFMR that will allow you to charge multiple iDevices at the same time, preventing you from overusing your charger. This entails saving on your part in terms of hardware.
All these features may come with the new iPhone, on top of the existing perks that we have come to love with the iPhone 5. Whether or not the iPhone 5S will be enough to help Apple maintain its supremacy in the smartphone race is something that we cannot say for sure. It’s an intensifying battle out there, after all.
